Re: GTA 5 for PC
42 hours for me to beat story, although a few hours is me just fucking around as well. Haven't played any GTA Online yet. Looking forward to a DLC that people have been talking about for weeks. Thing runs absolutely amazing and looks fucking gorgeous on my g-sync monitor. I can only run it at 93% (s...

Re: Worlds of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor
It's rumored that Blizzard will be releasing it right around the same time as WildStar to compete with it and pull their initial playerbase away.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
Game died out hella fast. Cleared all of the content except Turn 5 after like 6 weeks. Not going to throw myself at Turn5 forever so yeah I'm done.
Especially since there's not going to be any more content for what like four more months? Ridiculous

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
Spam 0 on the numpad and you'll be able to get in eventuallyyyyyy.
And once you're in, you can just idle for as long as you aren't playing. There's no AFK kick timer or anything. Only thing that'll kick you is maintenance they do.

i meant you don't need the overclock, not that you don't need the liquid cooling. you won't see any performance boost at all from it

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
It certainly isn't needed.
I'll take a picture of my heatsink when I get home. The thing is god damn massive. It also keeps my processor at like 28F and I can't hear it so I'm pretty impressed by it.

Re: Final Fantasy XIV
He could have a 660TI or might have an EVGA card or something rather than MSI which might have a slightly higher core-clock. That would cause the small 200 point difference.

Final Fantasy XIV
Get it, try it out, it's in beta now before the release in late august. They don't try to reinvent the wheel or anything with this one, they've acknowledged that. They have instead taken some of the best aspects from a lot of MMO's (WoW, Rift, SWTOR, etc.) and combined them into one. I tried SWTOR, ...

Re: Blizzard Entertainment Planning A Linux Game For 2013
Assuming you do not play games, Linux is certainly the way to go. Distros now, like Ubuntu or Mint are basically easier to manage versions of windows. They auto-detect and install all of your drivers, there's no real maintenance or management required. Everything you can do on a windows desktop you ...

Re: Blizzard Entertainment Planning A Linux Game For 2013
I have CentOS on my workstation (that's also what we use on our servers), Mint on my desktop computer, W7 Enterprise on a loaner machine, and an older generation 27 inch iMac. All hooked up through Synergy. It's nice.
Anyway. Try Mint with Cinnamon. I'm really digging it.

Use Mint. Seriously. I cannot even voice how much I recommend Mint over Ubuntu. It's a great linux desktop. It's what I use at work.

Re: Steam announces Linux beta access
Eh, that's not the only thing. They are making their own gaming console. It's just a PC that runs their own distro, that uses Steam's new "Big Picture" function. So, really, they're doing all of this linux beta access and shit to make sure that their client runs well in the environment and to see wh...

There is a tnt block that you can ignite http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/TNT" target="_blank You can mine iron ore, build a furnace, power the furnace with coal to smelt the iron ore into iron ingots and use those to make iron weapons. Re: Minecraft
It's not something you can play a long time, at least not for me... but it is something you can revisit a lot, especially with each patch. They charge $30 now? Fuck that. I paid $7 when it was in beta. But yeah. Just think of it as virtual legos with some adventure elements. You have to run around c...
