Sticky Realfek FAQ

Hay guyz, what's going on hear?

Realfek is the latest incarnation of the online community that originated in EverQuest on the Tarew Marr server. While almost nobody plays EverQuest any longer, the community has endured for over 10 years. These forums are an easy way for members to keep in contact with each other and post awful videos discovered on the internets.

Wat?

Well, if you didn't understand that, you may as well leave now.

What happened to Realpoor?

The Realpoor.com domain was sold a few years ago. The new owners locked out and banned almost all of the original Realpoor users and apparently turned it into an "MMO trading site." Amfek.org was created by Occulis for the old Realpoor people.

What happened to Amfek.org?

Devook was mean so Occulis shut the site down. He gave a copy of the database to Khrath after purging all of his own posts from it. Khrath soon setup Realfek.com, the name a homage to its predecessors Realpoor and Amfek.

What happened to Realfek.com?

Khrath died and the domain expired, and ultimately the HostGator account did as well. We tried to get control of either the domain name or the HostGator account but it turned out to be impossible. Even though they were given proof that the account owner was deceased they wouldn't give access to the account to anybody. Some of us did continue paying HG to keep the site up for a while, but after the domain expired there was nothing we could do.

What happened to all the old posts?

The simple answer is that they are gone. The longer answer is that they're gone, but I made a static copy (downloaded raw HTML) of every post. So they exist somewhere, but you can't search them or anything.

Can I get my old postcount back?

Yes, we can edit your joined date and post count in the database if you are a returning member.

Is your crotch all blurry like most Japanese people?

Valid question. I'll allow it.

Also, I asked Manami what was written there.
She said "Something about Gucci Shoulder Bag... I have no idea. It doesn't make sense."

There you have it.
