Yes, new expansion coming. No release date.

The Burning Legion has returned, and the heroes of Azeroth are being called to the Broken Isles to continue their adventures. Attempting to drive the Legion back will take players to level 110, have them wielding powerful Artifact Weapons, progressing through a new PvP Honor system, gathering with their brothers and sisters in Class Orders, and even choosing a new character class altogether: the Demon Hunter.

The new class will be a “Hero” class in the vein of the Death Knight class from the games 3rd expansion: Wrath of the Lich King. They will have unique abilities like seeing through walls and a double jump.

The expansion will also feature a new continent called “The Broken Isles.” Dalaran will be returning as the main hub. Players will start out however at the fabled “Tomb of Sargeras” from Warcraft lore. It’s pure speculation at this point, but it could be that Sargeras himself will finally be appearing in World of Warcraft.

They had 5mil subs at the last Blizzard meeting, but this was before the announcement of the expansion. This will easily bring back at least 2mil, and they will be sitting around 7mil once the expansion launches..

Blizzard is still a power house in the MMO world. Will I return with the expansion, I doubt it.. kind of burned on WoW

I didn't like WoD at all. I think my WoW days are behind me. :(

Market saturated with a million and one WoW clones, while the thing which keeps WoW at the top is past momentum rather than superior game design (if you're going to play a mediocre MMO why not the one everyone else is already playing).

Highly unlikely anything will topple it, as to design something superior a dev would need substantial backing, but investors want sure things, so they keep backing WoW clones.

Yeah only way I would return is if I had a raiding guild to go back, a decent guild where I could tank. More to do something then anything else.

I haven't played WoW in 4 years. My daughter was born, and that was the end.

I typically come back for a few months every expansion, I skipped the stupid panda one completely. Legion looks pretty awesome tho. Everything from beta seems to say it'll be the best since WotLK.

Realfek is like 11 people and most of us don't play video games anymore so I doubt we could form much of a guild.

I need to buy a TV. I have my PS3/4 & Wii U, but nothing to play them on. Oh well, soon enough.
