Batman: Arkham Origins

Post by principessa » Tue Apr 09, 2013 7:51 pm -0500

Yes, we have another game (two, actually) coming on 25 October. The big one is described below. The other game is for hand-held systems and is meant to function as a companion piece to this game. The hand-held game is called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.

Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

When you posted this message, I decided to buy the game through best buy.

They sent me an email on Wednesday before noon saying they were shipping the item for delivery on Friday.
It wasn't delivered. I contacted best buy and they said that it actually went out on Thursday and you should have it on Saturday.

It wasn't delivered.

Fuck best buy.

Wow, that does suck :( I hope that when it does show up, it isn't damaged or missing something.
I wonder if there was bad weather anywhere that interfered with shipping.

It came in today. I'll play it later, but focused on GTA5 now. I'm all of 50% through the main story now.

I went ahead and picked up Batman Arkham Asylum.

Damn should of picked this game up years ago. Having a ton of phone, played it for about 10 hours or so and only 25% into it.

Looking forward to picking up the other two when I am done with this one.

Also have Deadpool, that game is funny as hell.

So um... I'm still slowly working my way through GTA5. I'm only 55% into the game thus far. Lots more to accomplish.

I did just finish rescuing Lamar from the pot dealers at the Saw Mill. Oh, and freeing Michael's family from the military team that stormed his house.

Looking forward to eventually seeing the end.

Lawful, you would probably love this.

Some time next year DC is releasing a new animated movie called Batman: Assault on Arkham. It takes place in the same universe as the Arkham games.
That's really awesome, I can't wait.
comicbookmovie.com wrote:As for Batman: Assault On Arkham, the movie will be released Fall 2014 and takes place in the same universe as the highly successful Arkham video games. Talent from the franchise will be involved with the film, and it will contain "fresh" animation rather than reuse game footage.
